As part of our Catholic Schools' Week celebrations, we invited our grandparents and friends of our school to visit and to share the tradition of making Saint Brigid's crosses. Grandparents are a vital link in the chain of handing on the Catholic faith to our children. Thank you very much to all the parents and grandparents who visited and helped out in making crosses, and to those who brought in rushes. Thank you also to Bernie, our wonderful cook, who excelled herself today in the baking of her home-made scones and jam!
